Chain drive single-phase models are drives designed for mid-size roller shutters. The door shaft is driven through a chain transmission.
One of the main advantages of this motor type is its cost effectiveness. A wide range of drive torques is available and these motors can lift doors weighing up to 1,800 kg.
These drives are not suitable for frequent cycles because the motor speed values are designed for minimal daily cycles with slower opening and closing speeds.
The motors can be combined with a suitable safety catch device with an integrated anti-drop system. If an external safety catch is not preferred, a mechanical anti-fall attachment is installed on the chain transmission unit.
