Box motors are a type of side motor with a few differences. Like other direct drives, box motors with integrated safety catch devices are characterised by compact design, a wide range of drive torque, easy installation and long periods of maintenance-free operation.
The drive is fitted directly to the door shaft and the safety brake is built into the gear.
With 400 Nm torque, these drives can lift doors weighing up to 600 kg. One main advantage compared to other side motors is their compact design and the ability for the motor dimensions to match the bracket sizes.
