Slat Construction

The KP95 is built with double-walled steel or aluminum slats that are foam- or mineral wool-filled. This insulation adds thermal and acoustic performance while preserving the shutter’s strength. It is a preferred option for warehouses, workshops, and buildings where energy efficiency is critical.

Size Limits

The shutter can be manufactured up to 10 m wide and 10 m high, suitable for most industrial doorways. Larger dimensions are possible with reinforced components, ensuring stability and smooth operation.

Thermal & Acoustic Performance

The insulated core reduces heat loss in winter and prevents heat entry in summer. It also limits outside noise, making it suitable for production facilities or storage areas near busy roads.

Polyurethane Foam or Rockwool

Surface & Finish

Standard finishes include galvanized steel or anodized aluminum. Powder coating in RAL colors offers extra durability and allows the shutter to blend with the building’s architecture.

Operation

Because of its added weight, the KP95 is usually paired with direct drive motors. Smaller models can be equipped with chain or tubular drives where appropriate.

Components

Bottom Rail

Heavy-duty steel or aluminum rail provides a weatherproof seal. It ensures the curtain closes securely against the ground.

Guides

Deep side guides stabilize the insulated curtain. They also support weatherproofing by minimizing heat transfer through the edges.

Optional Double G Guide & Rolling Wind Lock System

Optional double G guide is possible. Special design double G galvanized rails and windproof rolling wind-lock system composed of steel wind locks with double nylon wheels make the door offer resistance to any kind of force bothsides of the door (internal/external). The system is exclusively designed for KP95 double skin profiles. Again, the system brings a better security to the door due to the anti- intruder function of the double G shape guide. Compared to standard guides, it is more resistant to intervent with tools like crank because of rolling wind locks which hold up the door between guide rails. The plastic hard strips are used for sealing the door and the guide rails and again bring a quiet travel with less vibration.

Optional Sliding Brackets

Sliding brackets allow the axis to rotate when the diameter of the rolling curtain changes. This means that the curtain always enters the guides vertically without distortion. This improved fit of the shutter curtain to lintel brings important advantages to roller shutter.

Shaft & Barrel

The shaft and barrel are engineered to handle the increased load of insulated slats. Balanced operation extends service life.

Brackets

Oversized steel brackets keep the system stable and aligned. They distribute the shutter’s weight safely into the building structure.
